Has anyone tried replacing the N3DS' C stick? I've had this problem from mine that it makes it hard to move downwards and no, it's not because of sweaty thumbs. If I actually use something like a piece of cloth for more grip, it's still harder to push down (can test in MH4U's calibration menu). I can even turn it around and push up (for going downwards) and it's still harder than to move upwards.
I've assembled the necessary screwdrivers and I think the process it's not actually that hard. There's some disassembling images in iFixit and some videos too. My question is if someone here has actually done it, and if it requires some calibration from a special software next, or if is it ready to use after I replace it.
The replacement ribbon-rubber stick pack goes for around $9 on eBay.
