Gaming Replaced DS lite LCD, still won't turn on

When I turn my DS lite on, the bottom screen flashes then the DS turns off. I've read that this is due to the top LCD being defective, so I bought some from China. After replacing the LCD, the same problem persist. Any idea what might be wrong? the DS can still charge, so it's probably not the fuse

I did the same problem when try fix the hinge/case.
My problem was the connecor isn't connected well.
