Can somebody point me in the right direction for repairing internal memory? I'm looking to learn what to do to try and make physical repairs to my old XL so I can make a system transfer to my New XL. The system can boot into system update, recalibration, and will pull up the sleep mode screen if I press the power button. However, it will never actually reach the home screen. I've tried:
-Removing the SD card and the game card.
-Using compressed air in the SD card and game card ports.
-Holding the power button for 30+ seconds, both from on and off states.
-Letting it discharge completely, then stay that way (for days/weeks).
-Removing the battery.
-Removing and reconnecting the wifi chip.
-Removing and reconnecting the IR board.
-Checking all the motherboard connections that might have been loose.
-Deleting the home data folder from the SD card.
-Deleting the home menu data using the button press combo.

So I'm pretty sure there's something physically wrong with the memory, but not so bad that the thing doesn't work at all. Anybody have advice for where to start?
