Will it damage the Security Chip or just weaken the clip?

You risk bending the pins on the clip, but the security chip should be fine.

Well I just gave my friend my D2Pro9...and I'm getting a new WHOLE new WiiClip + Modchip...Would I get the eject issues if I went for WiiKey2? I would probably get less eject issues or none at all... because I had horrible eject issues with the D2Pro9...I had to like reset my wii 5+ times(iono why..I installed it PERFECTLY...)...and I just installed it into my friends D2C...I ALSO HAVE A D2C...now its like working all good but still has the eject issue once awhile. I was gonna swap DVD Drives with him but I didnt want him to notice since he was going to get a modchip.
