Hacking remove a WAD when WAD Manager and AnyTitle Deleter Will not

I have a WAD that went bad.. now I cannot see channel or saved game data from the Wii menu. Everything else works fine.

I tried WAD Manager as well as AnyTitle Deleter, but neither seem to do the trick.

Does anyone know of another piece of software or even something that will let me go in to remove the files manually or even a homebrew app that will tell me how many blocks I have free so I do not overload my wii when loading a WAD.

I am at 3.2u with Starfall and have homebrew channel and wad manager ability.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. its a pain when you cannot even see your channel and saved game data...

seems more like a semi brick to me then a wad/banner problem... try installing a new system menu with any region changer or waninkoko's downgrader...

downgraded to 3.2 from 3.3u after this first happend, and was even able to install starfall without a problem (which helped greatly when I loaded one too may wads due to know knowing available space)...

I have not tried the region changer yet.. can I just use the program and install the same region..

also it seems more like corrupt memory, but no errors ever occur.. the system just freezes after a while if you try to access the channel or save game pages... also I tried doinga system restore (before downgrading) just for the hell of it, and it froze as well.. everything else strangely enough is fine...

any help is greatly appreciated..

you could try any region changer, and else you might try formatting your wii, if that also doesn't work, then you could try removing all homebrew and sending it in to nintendo...

well.. tried anyregion changer and the install freezes on INSTALLING TO TITLE 1-30 v1040

Same problem I had when trying to update IOS30 the other day... I think this is my problem..

I tried system restore a few days ago and it froze as well, so the problem is definately with IOS30

Any ideas anyone.. Getting pretty bad now.. system used to boot perfectly.. now sometimes freezes on the HIT A to continue safety screen.. I think a brick is not too far off.

I cannot return since the system is two years old (purchased the day it was released)...

try to reiinstall the wad ? or make a wad with the same title id and install it it will then overwrite the corrupt one

tried that previously as well and still a no go.. I believe there is also an issue with IOS30 V1040 as well.. I have had issues updating that with the downgraders...

I tried overwriting with anyregion changer using same system settings and it errored out.. then changed to JPN which worked, then changed back to US and all seemed to work, but the saved game screen and channel page is still locked...

Does anyone know what IOS the channel and saved game screens use?

I am beginning to think there is a problem with the physical memory of the wii itself which is causing the problem..

I am so glad I put on starfall or else I would be in real trouble since the autoboot has helped me get the system back up several times when it froze on the welcome screen or if I over filled memory by accident (since I cannot tell how many blocks are free)...

With that said, does anyone know of a utility that will show how many blocks are free?
