People who purchased a Nintendo 3DS early for the original price (or before the official price drop recently) are eligible for the Ambassador program. What this means is that Nintendo is giving away 10 free NES games and 10 free GBA games to download onto their 3DSes. The NES games have already been released several months ago. GBA games were announced to be coming later this year. Now they have an official release date in Japan along with the remaining 5 unknown titles revealed. Here's the updated full list of GBA Ambassador titles-
- F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
- Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island
- Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
- Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
- Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
- Mario Kart: Super Circuit
- Mario vs. Donkey Kong
- Metroid Fusion
- Wario Land 4
- WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames
Japan Ambassadors will receive their free GBA titles for download on December 16th. No formal announcement for US and other regions yet, though they're very likely to be following the Japanese releases a few days or so afterwards. Nintendo has said they have no plans to make these games available to the general public. This can change however, it is highly plausible they will be releasing NES and GBA games on the 3DS Virtual Console. But for now, these games remain exclusive, and most of all free to people who purchased and used their 3DS systems on a wifi network before August 12th. So keep an eye out during the next week or two when these GBA games go live!
