Hi gbatemp comunity, just a quick release; a .wav patcher to use with custom themes. Use this to patch your <3.3 mb file and then use EveryFileExplorer to convert to .bcstm extension and your music will be able tu be used with custom themes.

Windows (xp,7,8,8.1) version:

https://www.virustotal.com/es/file/...7e76ed0ccdd54ba18348feac/analysis/1421266034/

v1.0 http://www.mediafire.com/download/xoum95kt6da946e/3DS_Wav_Patcher.exe

MacOS version:

Maybe, soon. I don´t use Mac

Linux version:

Avaiable soon, if this is is well received by the comunity.

Known Bugs:
-Tool prints in console that the patched file is 14 bytes
-Don´t support spaces in file name or location.

Usage:
Run the .exe, you will require administrator credentials if run from C: or windows installation. Wait a few seconds. Drag and Drop file to console. Press enter. Profit !
An output file will be generated where .exe is (not where .wav file is)

Regards to GbaTemp comunity.
And vouch for froatsnook and my friend CrusardGameamos (and the CustomThemes FAQ creator)

PD: Please forget my poor english xD

What does this tool do exactly?
What's the difference between using a wav directly and a wav patched with this tool?

What i understand is that the wav file needs to be 3371008 bytes exactly to be used with themes. This tool basically makes a <3.3 sound file be exactly 3.3 mb.
But maybe im wrong with this?

Actually, the bcstm file needs to be <= 3371008 bytes, not the source wav...

it's not useful, sorry. a bcstm doesn't have to be exactly 3371008 bytes long, as nastys said.
also, there's already a tool that converts wavs (and mp3 too) to brstm with which you can choose some useful options, like the one to make the music loop. after you have the brstm, it's sufficient to use another tool to convert it to bcstm. I have linked both tools several times in different threads.
