how can i extract the savefile?
the save is made at the end of chapter 3 and the characters entering the building is a cutscene so i cant make a save in front of the building.

But first try something else. I'm assuming you patched the eboot as well? Try it with the unpatched eboot. It should run with the unpatched eboot but throw some Japanese text here and there. Just replace your current eboot in the ux0/app/PCSG00042 folder on your Vita.

Is this based on the un-edited PSP translation?

It seems it is based on a later version of that translation. The old team uploaded their current version in December 2016 right before they disbanded. These files were basically scattered script files, not put together into a translation patch before. I can only assume that this script is basically a newer version of what we got as the leak last year. The guy who made the patch somehow managed to put those script files together into a patch for the Evo game...But i guess you have to ask him personally what he did.

But it's definitely a much better translation/edit from what i've seen so far:

    PC/PSP:

    • "Since last years <Non-Agression Pact> it seems the flow has accelerated."
    Evo:

    • "And this trend even became more prominent following the non-agression pact established two years ago."
    PC/PSP:

    • "The various conveniences are nice, but things have become more hectic."
    Vita:

    • "While these new facilities brought convenience to our daily lives, people are still strugling to adapt to the citiy's rapid growth."
(i really like that line in the current Vita patch/translation version, which makes me really wonder if this is a newer, more refined edit of the leaked version.)

    PC/PSP:

    • "Oh sorry, you're just now returning. I wonder if i said something terrible."
    Vita:

    • "Oh, I'm sorry. It's been a while since you last visited your hometown. I didn't mean to disappoint you.
(So it really seems that this script is indeed a more edited version...)

    PC/PSP:

    • "I heard various things from letters... No matter how much it has changed, my hometown, Crossbell, is still Crossbell."
    Vita:

    • "My friend told me similar things in his letter... but no matter how Crossbell changes, it is, and always will be, my hometown."
(so the leak script is definitely more literal, especially considering the voiced line here.)

    PC/PSP:

    • "Hm, you're young, but you understand. Contary to that, when it comes to those politicians lately..."
    Vita:

    • "Hmm, that's very thoughtful for someone your age. Compared to a bright young man like you, those newly elected politicians are just..."

Yesterday i tested it a bit and I found error sentences like the one before entering Geofront, when Tio is talking about her orbal staff. She says something like "Glad to.. do you understand?"(I don't remember exactly) and in the psp version he says "Mr Lloyd, do you understand?" So I'm a bit confused because I like this translation but I'm afraid of these other things xD. I want to play this game so hard xD

This is great!!! Seems better than the PSP version. Maybe this one is based on the 60% completed at geofront?

Interesting. So it's basically an app you programmed to insert the translation from https://heroesoflegend.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=305 into the Japanese game by replacing each specific line with the English script from the old team? How do you know where the specific insertion points are? I guess there are no markers or anything. What programming language do you use? I'm just interested. This must be a lot of work. Seriously your doing an amazing job here. Keep up the good work. I'm really appreciating it.

After I applied v 1.1 the game skips creating a system save at start up and I can't save ingame. Did I do anything wrong ?

v 1.0 works fine the game makes a system save normally.

Evolution ONLY extra subquests are broken, the game does not reward you full dp for chapter 2 quests, "ultimate bread showdown" and "search for the oversleeping doctor" chapter 3 quest, "illegal parking lot" so you will have to play non patched dump, report the quests, save and go back to patched dump game if you want to get full dp.

Have you encountered any untranslated text outside of the Evo exclusive sidequests? Are all the NPCs translated, even late into the game? Also: How far into the game are you, have you already beaten this patched version? Is it fully beatable?
