ok so is there a way to manually search for games by title id or serial CTR-XXXX with FBI CIAngel? or do i just have to go back to the old fashioned method?
i can't even find basic titles like paper mario and kingdon heart with thuis thing or with CIAngel or FBI
why are so many games missing? you are saying they are still in the CDN eshop server right it's just these database files are out of date?

All the games can be downloaded from the eShop as long as you have the Title ID, the problem is you need the encrypted title key to decrypt them and actually play them. Lots of games don't have their titlekey posted yet. So as such, they're not included in the titlekey database.

The link to the database is in my program's source code, and it also notifies you where it's downloading the database from if it doesn't find one in its own directory. So I'd suggest you start there.

I was searching for Steamworld Heist and noticed that there wasn't any USA version or any DLC for both EU and NA. I also can't find the Japanese Monster Hunter 4G or Monster Hunter X. Does the database not have these entries?

all i notice is that i get a way different QR code in 1.7+

hint: 1.6 has more code dots/resolution than 1.7+

Where exactly does it fail? FBI installation?

You get a different QR code because the links are shorter now.

I just checked and they seem to be generating and installing fine here. Check your network connection I guess.
