Is anyone else having random crashes while playing out of region games or is it just my SD getting faulty?

What 3ds games and region patched cia or region locked?
USA O3DS 9.2 using Emunand with latest fw. I have gotten crashes with Fire Emblem IF (Jap with Patch), it's not consistent and it can crash on other games like pokemon but it is usually after I have played Fire Emblem that I'm more prone to getting the crash, otherwise I can keep the 3DS on for days without issues. I still suspect it is the SD readers fault though because right before a game crashes the sound mutes and then it goes to black screen with a message to turn the 3ds off (I assume it's because it stops reading the emunand).

What version of rxTools are you trying with?

He can't do anything like that, his only entry point is rxTools, and it doesn't work on version 2.6/3.

The Jap release with patch is way superior with fan translations and content. Top is Jap Release Patch has this translated correctly, bottom is US release

Because I never had any troubles before with the Japanese one (played half way through the 2 main routes and part of the third path without issues) also it's better than the english release so far dialogue-wise.

Why do these game companies insist on doing dubs that aren't true to the actual Japanese text?

I think you two are confusing localisation with translation, they are not one and the same (unfortunately in some cases).

If you want a game that is the same as the Japanese version, fucking learn Japanese, or use fan translations. But don't bitch about the localisations not being literal translations.

Now, let's get back on topic at hand; how rxTools continues to become less and less relevant with superior choices for both CFWs and tools such as Decrypt9 available.

You don't have to be so nasty. It's just I always thought they were translating the Japanese into English or other languages and thought that it was one in the same. It is only recently I've become aware how badly text and stuff is put in English.

Learning another language is not easy especially when it doesn't use the Roman alphabet. This is someone who can't even grasp a simple C++ Hello World program.

On Topic: rxTools can still do some stuff that other software can't do. I don't see another piece of software mimicking Pasta Mode and allowing us to do stuff to the sysNand that we can't do any other way. Of course the biggest thing that rxTools still can't do is create the emuNand.

I use rxTools on my O3DS and ReiNand on my N3DS since I don't have to deal with all that slot keys stuff with ReiNand.

Actually Fan translation WILL try to localize the content and do it much better than most localisations

Still tell me how *That's Dragon for i Love you is a localisation* spacker

This is also because of the fact usually the content is getting its age rating lowered when it gets transferred to to US/EU.
Hence why relationships in the US version are censored and also the *Petting Game* is removed

Well the original point was that the very same fire emblem japanese cia I had been using for a while without any problems at all suddenly started crashing out of nowhere, and the crashes are happening only with that game now that I've taken the time to try other cias I have.
Truth is I still haven't tried FE:Fates US version but I wanted to keep playing the fan translation since I had gotten so far already so I ask again: Has anyone else benn having troubles with out of region cias with the recent builds of Rxtools? Should note that I upgraded to beta-2 recently from the 01-23 nightly which crashed after some time but not nearly as usual as this one .-.
