Um u need to be on or below 9.2.0-20 fw

you need to downgrade to use rxtools because it is not supported on the firmware you are on

sorry i meant i was on 9.2(was tired when i was typing that) but i got to work by typing in launch rxtools on google instead of a bookmark.

Did you try holding L during the rxtools boot?
That's how you bring up the menu with options to launch emunand or sysnand with signature patches or even inject FBI.

I'm using RxTools 3.0 Beta 2. 50% of the time, RxTools won't boot at startup. Sometimes it'll freeze on a yellow screen. Sometimes it'll freeze on a black screen. Is this common? I have it set to boot when any button is held.

Coloured screen freezes are not related to rxTools as it has not been loaded at this point. Beta is beta, I'm sure the devs will get around to solving the freezes when they apply the finishing touches to the current parts they are working on.

Also it might be helpful to state your 3ds / sdcard / partition cluster size.

Freezing at yellow screen = payload got stuck and I get it a lot of times with 2.1 *hax payload on O3DS XL 9.2 sysnand.
I've had seen a replacement called LessHax that you replace the themehax/menuhax payload with, but I didn't test it myself and dunnow about it bootrate.
And I don't actually remember the last time I've got actually stuck on rxTools booting process (black screen after splash and green pixel on lower left after splash screen), that only happened twice.
I use one somewhat old nightly build made before the downgrade crazyness.

I've used rxTool through the various nightlies and rxTools freezes occasionally when it boots. Heck even Gateway freezes once and awhile even with booting it from MSET.

I typically use MenuHax to boot rxTools and even MenuHax freezes on yellow. BrowserHax freezes every so often on orange.

I've failed sometimes when coldbooting as well but only ocasionally, never had an error happen twice in a row so I just take it as normal and try again, I tend to boot Emunand manually through the menu though.

Actually, my sdcard adapter for the hardmod has arrived yesterday, so should start working on arm9loaderhax pretty soon

When I load the url, it takes me to the installation data suite and says please stand by. There is one square filled and it sits there and does nothing else.any ideas what I've done wrong? 2DS 6.0.0-12U firmware and just updated emuNAND to the latest. Thanks for any help at all on this. Edit: now all I have is a black screen... I'm going to delete the files and start over for the 3rd time now.

I will try it again with beta2 but I had the same results unfortunately. Thanks for the advice! I'll let you know what happens. Edit: Well beta2 appears to have installed but it's stuck on the installation successful press any key to continue screen. Edit again: forced to reboot and now it's on the rxtools screen and frozen and just black on the bottom screen
