Ugh, I missed that strcpy. Now I'm getting an error that means that the firmware magic value is wrong. Do I need to like, decrypt it or something?

Yeah you need a fully decrypted one (also arm9bin)

I was working on a new version of the rxTools environment installer (it also installs ARMIPS to be used with CakesFW) and that was the result:

Something unique to you. Works fine via cart, sky3ds, and cia here.

I can't enter on rxTools menu, I hold R button when I open it from ninjhax, and it boots the rxMode...

Unless you are in devmode, hb launcher won't work.

Maybe you should check whether you have a good copy of CN CIA. I once did come across a bad copy of CN cia (maybe it 3DS file renamed as cia by some reasons).

FBI restricts CIA's sign or something other which Devmenu/BBM doesn't.
For details, you should ask the FBI author.
