What? CIA import on rxTools? Since when?So with the brand new MSET exploit shown in your picture, roxas, we will be able to get an emunand on O3DS (for example a 8.1 EUR O3DS) and we will be able to install Big Red Menu for .CIA?
Man your work is incredible, just saying.
Obviously the rx in rxtools stands for romloader extraordinare, didn't you know that? What? CIA import on rxTools? Since when?
Why 6.X and not 4.X?![]()
What's showed here is a proof of the MSET downgrading function! What you can see here is a NAND on 9.0 with a theme in the back, and the old System Settings logo in the app!
I successfully written a stable functions in rxTools to downgrade mset in every firmware to his 6.X version, so with the Profile Exploit in there
I need to finish and test the stability before releasing, be patient, becouse it writes things in your NAND, and i do not want to cause bricks here around!
6.x has the function that backups savedata. Why 6.X and not 4.X?
I'd hug you right nowUpdated to version 2.3!
Enjoy!
- Added mset exploit support, for 4.x only
- Added functions to dump/inject specific and useful NAND files, from both sysand emu NANDS. This should let things like region-changing, ticket importingand other kind of works much easier.
- Launched rxtools.net ! The rxTools official site! All thanks to Tjessx

The other thing I need to report, is that the QR codes on the site don't work on a Nintendo 3DS. It isn't smart enough to assume that anything ending in .com/, .net/, .org/ is a URL.
The actual text encoded in the QR code is launch.rxtools.net/ And what the QR code actually needs to be encoding is http://launch.rxtools.net/ (The 3DS expects to see either http:// or https:// at the beginning for URL based QR codes.)
What would be the difference?I would prefer a menu whith one option to downgrade mset to 6.x and one option to downgrade mset to 4.x. If that possible
The EmuNAND partition is a copy of your NAND, nothing is different.Oh, so I think I am wrong here. xD
I don't understand because the OP says that it's compatible with GW emunand, for example. So as GW emunand accept .CIA, I made this mistake.
What mean the fact that rxtool support GW emunand, so?
Thank you for your answer.
there is no real benefit from downgrading to 4.x MSET, 6.x MSET will offer the same functionality but with a few added features....that being said im sure he could do it, but again there is very little reason to and it will just complicate matters and lead to 101 questions on which is betterI would prefer a menu whith one option to downgrade mset to 6.x and one option to downgrade mset to 4.x. If that possible
none really, nothing more than the normal 3DS OS which allows you to back up certain eshop saves....but that's it reallyApologies, but I've been searching this thread and I haven't been able to find a clear-cut answer to this: What kind of save management capabilities do these tools have? Any at all?
Sorry. I'm not terribly familiar with some of the features explained in the OP.
As per the usual <6.0 requirement?none really, nothing more than the normal 3DS OS which allows you to back up certain eshop saves....but that's it really
