Hahah i agree, he gives me a lot of likes, he will probably like THIS post, off topic but i was reading about arm11 kernel execution being worked on so we are a step closer to a 9.9/10.0 kernel exploit not sure if it works on 10.1 though. This reminds me of mac os versions lol. Margen is the Hero of Likes, what is the hero of winds doing on his profile pic? But when we get arm11 code loading then we are closer to having a arm9 exploit and being able to load rxtools on newer firmwares
Considering that 9.3.0, 9.6.0, and 10.0.0 had a new NATIVE FIRM and 10.1.0 didn't, if there is Kernel Exploit in 10.0.0 it should exist in 10.1.0.

Off-Topic: What's this "F5" business, "F5" does nothing in my browser. I have to hit "Command+R" Not all of us use Windows.

Is the "BACKUP NAND" option reliable? I've heard people telling it could create a not-working NAND.bin. Are they right? Was it fixed?

Hi, just wanted clarification, I've just installed rxtools, got the sysnand and emunand seperated, all working well. However, I noticed something odd, whenever I start Rx, whether it be from the browser or through the DS Profile, it always does that "setting up/installing" phase beforehand, then I ALWAYS have to hold the right trigger to get into emunand. How can I have it to just automatically go to RX-EmuNand when just pressing the Profile button? Is it a change of the .dat file? Any help with this would be appreciated as I set this up for a friend and he's not exactly the best at these things.

Also:
Ok, both the SysNand AND the EmuNand are both on 4.4.0-4E. How do I update JUST the EmuNand to whatever is the current best firmware to use?

To update the emuNAND, just boot into it and do the update process from Settings -> General Settings -> Update. Remember not to exit the Settings menu when entered, or you'll get back to sysNAND.

Is 10.1 not having issues with EmuNand Currently?

And what do you mean by don't exit?I'll have to exit when the update finishes XD

Well, at that time exiting is not something to worry about xD
It's having issues with Gateway's CFW. You're using rxTools, so there's no problem.

ok, so just to clarify, boot RXTools Emunand, go into the system settings, make sure that I'm in Emunand System Settings, then go ahead and update. Once finished I'll be kicked back to sysnand, then I go back into emunand and it'll be 10.1?

And about the other question, the installing and having to press A each time, is that unavoidable?

Sorry for the silly questions, just wanna make sure I have it all setup and good to go before i start installing games and such XD

There's a way to avoid that:
DS Profile -> rxTools -> Settings -> Quick boot. That's the most straightforward solution I know.

No System Settings in 2.6 version? I'm using 3.0 (09-12).
Try looking for it in "Other options"

Nope not there, hang on, I'll try download 3.0 and see if I can swap out the 2.6 for 3.0 without any issues
