It currently doesn't work whatsoever, and Roxas has no N3DS to add support for it.

What part of an update contain the new encryption keyY ? Why could'nt we just upgrade the 6.X keyY in a 4.X sysnand ? This will be usefull to enable new save game encrytion in rx mod launched by a 4.X.

EDIT : If I understand what I red here : 3Dbrew --> 6.0.0-11.

- the NATIVE_FIRM title contain all new encryption information.
- but also contain arm11 modules updates...

So by intalling the 6.0 native firmware cia (or 5.0) all of 4.X exploits will be patched (of course if the system boot...)

Not at all. Go ahead and download the latest version of the whitelist, but spoof the version and install it. The Gateway blue card will still work. That's proof enough that 1) It's a blacklist and not a whitelist and 2) The signature gets broken (so your system is no longer using that blacklist).

Yeah, the version is not a part of the CIA but the files inside it. When you change the version you're just modifying the content which results in a broken signature. There's been numerous posts explaining this more detail; Wulfy's post history is a good place to look. (She's posted a tonne of useful info throughout the forum. If you're the curious sort, her posts are worth a read.)

Why ?? And how did you do that ? You can spoof fw only on N3ds (or am I wrong ?) and use rxtool only on 3ds/xl & 2ds.

But why ? Why did you not just download your update on your emunand ?

Can't download the update on emunand because Gateway currently doesn't support the latest FW and eshop spoof can now work on O3ds too.

Nope, I am on Old 3ds only. And yes, you can use eshop spoof on Old 3ds also.

So, what is your prblm ?

- Backup your emunand,
- launch rxMode,
- update your emunand then reboot,
- launch rxMode again and do your updates,
- lauch rxTools and extract the title.db of your new emunand,
- restore your previous emunand,
- launch rxtools again and restore the title.db in your GW emunand,
- restart and launch in gateway mode.

Yes you can download all games updates on the eshop even if you haven't the game and it's 100% safe because you do a backup of your emunand and you don't touch your sysnand.

You can also download cia update, install it with the gateway then active it with the e-shop.

Hi, I have a question:
I'm currently on 9.5 emunand using gateway.
I have an original copy of Smash, and I wanna download the latest patch.

So what I need to do is backup emunand -> launch rx tools -> update to 9.7 -> download the patch -> restore old emunand.
After that the game will work just fine on Classic mode, right?
