Just get the latest and it should work just fine.
i thought so too but the latest unofficial ps4 version i found is based off retroarch 1.8.8 and all the roms i have work in 1.9.0
Just get the latest and it should work just fine.
@ploggy Been working on other projects but perhaps another retroarch update will follow after
Archive.org 's may 2021 capture states that the page was last updated in july 2020
https://web.archive.org/web/20210504090849/https://bintray.com/osirizx/libretro/ps4/latest/
So even if the online updater worked we'd still get the same files as the r4 release.
TBH I'm okay with the port's current status. Dolphin could have been awesome but alas, beggars and choosers and all.
Even then, Dolphin would run like trash on Orbis. It runs ok in Linux.
I would say that if you are adamant about using a PS4 for emulation, install Linux. Retroarch in Orbis is fine for up to PS1, but Linux is a better option right now.
Everytime i have tried to boot Retroarch it gives me the ce-34878-0 error code i have tried reinstalling the app and rebooting the ps4 neither has worked im not too sure what else i can do just wondering if anyone would be able to help me thanks
try stand alone installer which contains retroarch and cores in one file.Just tried it still getting the same error code
