I thought saves where encrypted per rom and it's impossible to switch ? Maybe something about saves I don't know too.
Also you need a header to play online anyways, I guess I'll just download this when found and play it offline if it works.

saves are tied to the header, if you use the same header on pokemon X&Y the saves are cross compatible with other regions.....this doesn't work for most games, but some it does, and save data filer allows you to decrypt a save end re-encrypt it allowing stuff like editing, which allowed users to mod the EU fantasy life save to work on the US release......so there is options, but no guarantee of either of them until we can test it

1-Inject header to the JPN game
2-extract save with savedatafiler
3-Inject the same header to usa game
4-inject save to the usa rom
that would work?

I'm not the best tech wise, I'll have a little play of the JPN one to get to bearings with it for an initial impression and then I'll just wait for the AUS release (21st someone said) that seems the best case scenario for myself.

If you can extract the save with SDF, there should be no need to mess with the game header.
