This is for 4.x, if you have an old 3DS on 4.x and use Gateway in everyday life, and your only interest is play GBA and DSiWare titles, this is ideal. If set up right, all you need is another SDCard. Want to play GBA or DSiWare? Pop in the SDCard with Pasta and hit your DS profile exploit, and it will boot into Pasta. Done? Turn off, swap cards again, hit the exact same DS profile exploit to boot into Gateway.

You can't, the only way would be to launch Pasta through MSET, which only works on 4.xx firmware's.
