Yes you can, just put the pak file in the pak forder and when you boot up the BOR engine it should have all those paks selectable with images and names for each. Please note, not all are 100% compatible. some will force a hard crash.
Just FYI this version STILL have a strange bug that doesn't allow to continue in the game, whenever you get to continue it boots to the title screen.

Hi there. Just to save you the hassle, there was only one special version of of the latest build 4.0.4 of my DD Reloaded specifically fixed for the Vita. So no any other verrsion other than this specific one will fully work on Vita.
Now before you ask me, no i'm not sharing or support any of my games anymore. Still there's a chance for you to find this Vita version build 4.0.4 of the game here in this forum, since i was talking to a member of this forum when i made this special Vita version.(of course i don't remember the name of this guy, you have to ask around here.)

I had lost hope earlier since someone told me that you had not been here since 2018 - so pardon the PM that I sent to you earlier - LOL - I just didn't think you would show up - especially considering how dead this place gets sometimes.
I also wanted to thank you - in keeping and Double dragon so faithful to the original - you can tell how much love went into retaining the classic feel of the actual arcade - I cant even imagine all the sweat and tears that must've taken you to get the A.I to react the way it does - and it's so cool how well the technos sprites for hulk, and adrei the giant fit in perfectly. - I've read some of the suggestions people threw at you and how quick you told them that you had a vision that you didn't want to deviate to far from.
All in all I'm just happy you get to see my thanks today

This is my most valuable game I currently own - just so you know.
Heads up concerning double dragon reloaded, the game creates a log automatically even if you disable the option to do so it will still create a 3-4 meg log that will cause openbor to not load ever again unless you go into openbor log folder and delete the log file from there. Also, the game will try to auto save once you defeat the 3rd stage boss (big dude wearing red pants and sun glasses) and after that vita will display a save successful error and kick you out from playing the game.
Note: please don't bother magggas or PM him regarding this , the other modes still work and I'm sure you will still have a blast playing all other modes excluding story mode.

Hi, here with another update on how to get the full version of Double Dragon Reloaded Alternate version to work for vita based on the links comments found in this thread.
So after a long day yesterday I began learning about openbor and how to mod existing PAks. After some trial and error and using the pak tool extractor provided by yeshuachrist
I put a # symbol in front of the code line that reads " bglayer data/levels/sta3a/back6.gif 0.1 0 0 0" (stage3a.txt ) to free up some memory and prevent the game to crash, this txt file is found in the levels folders. Now the game is able to fully run the entire story mode without any hassles (make sure to do the same for the arranged version of the game text file).
I guess this was the only background for stage that was to big and had parallax features in the entire game but it was to much for the vita to run the thing so it would crash the game. If you still want that background tho you can merge it with the regular background (via photoshop)so that you just don't see a black background.
Hands down best beat em up on the vita for me. And finding a way to make it work was totally worth my 72 hours of trial and error.
Edit: I still can't make the game disable file loggins which is what causes opebor vita to stop working so I'm still deleting the log file each time I launch openbor but I suspect this not a problem with double dragon RA but perhaps it has to do with the Vita version of openbor.

I have no qualms about it doing that, but I suspect the reason why magggas took it down was because we found the bug that breaks the game. Out of respect for his work I'm hoping he sees this post of mine and let's me know if I could reupload the file again.
In the meantime do you know what's the best way to upload a file that's about 145 megabytes for free online? I've never in my life have ever uploaded a file that big online.
Fingers crossed magggas gets to see this post soon.

Btw: I edited my previous comment on how to fix the bug and included an actual screen shot of part the .TXT file where the bug was and where I placed a # on the code of line to prevent that background from loading and crashing the vita port.

I tried that but It didn't work on windows 10 I can't seem to save the applied settings.
Could it be my usb type? Actually, could you elaborate a bit on how you did this?
