oh i didn't think about this...
is it only the clock speed that is broken? does any of ntr work on 10.3?
i want to use ntr for some ntr only cheats that were made, and try to port them to gw...

By any chance do you have a kingdom hearts cheat plugin for NTR? The speedfly version crashes the game on the 3DS logo.

yes but ntr has cheats which is cool :)
hans does screenshots? i never used it.
HANS is capable of cheats too, whether or not @smealum impliments such a feature depends entirely on how he feels about cheating.

I mean I guess he could "port" the feature NTR has where wifi is disabled while cheats are active, if he had concerns about people cheating online.

HANS is basically a beefed up version of what @yifan_lu's spiderninja would have been.
If you want motivation, imagine a .3dsx GUI application that lets you search and patch game memory live (and develop cheats). Or imagine a menu that let's you select VC rom to inject. Anyways, I hope someone else can pick up development because I don't know when I'll have time to continue this.

no no no it's completely different, from the way it works to what it's meant to do. really completely separate.

regarding cheats, again, HANS itself can't really do that by itself, but it's a planned feature for hax 3.0, whenever that happens.

will you adopt ntr's cheat format/addresses or GW's? or both?
(please don't create your own) :)
thanks, good luck

it will only be able to read .SMEA cheat files

actually i have no idea this is pretty far off into the future

IF he does it better not be NTR because I can't even get that to work.
no, if he uses NTR's codes it doesn't matter because you will get it working because you won't be using ntr... you will be using smea's thing.
i just don't want a 3rd cheat code format/standard that we will have to worry about. having two is annoying enough. :)

you don't really understand what i was saying, it's not about ntr plugins. - but if you have been searching for 27 hours and you still can't figure it out, i'm not surprised... wow
i had a brief look when i wanted to try and convert form NTR to GW codes and i found enough stuff that would have helped me make codes, in about 5 or 10 minutes.
you need write the code, then compile it/convert it, with a bat file. i saw a little guide somewhere on gbatemp, you must have found it if you looked for 27 hours.

Dude I spent a week looking for info on how to make the plugins and didn't find shit, not to mention I personally have never been able to get the debugger to work right (half the time it won't even connect) so I am not surprised he is having problems.

When I find a prebuilt plugin for a game they tend to work exactly as advertised, but trying to do my own codes? Nada.

it seems straight forward enough. @ElyosOfTheAbyss @Aroth did you really not find this?
https://gbatemp.net/threads/ntr-cfw-3-0.393710/page-11#post-5592793
or is that not good enough?

Considering it is in the middle of a thread about an outdated version of NTR?

It is VERY heard to use the search feature of most forums (including this one) to find info that is tucked away in the middle of a thread. Especially when you don't have a clear idea what exactly to search for.

For example, i just searched for "make a cheat.plg" and looked for the post you linked. It was on the NINTH page of ten pages of results. I even found two other similar tutorials, also on the ninth page of results. Most people don't have the time or patience to filter through that much data. Not to mention i had to search for that EXACT phrase to find it. Searching for "make a cheat plugin" nets me no real useful results.

On top of that, making a plugin requires the ability to find codes, which is a royal pain in the ass to begin with using the NTR debugger. And thats on top of the problems some people (like myself) have getting the debugger to run at all.
