@cell9 did it intentionally to prevent cheating online, it's been that way since it's inception, and I respect him for it.

If you want to cheat online, buy a Gateway.


The plugin format is opensource, NTR CFW however, is not.

Is online only disabled when using the cheat plugin?

" Important Notice for Real-Time Save feature
This is an experimental feature and have some limits in current version:
1 For most games, save/load must be started in the game scene, do not save/load in movies, menus, etc.
2 The real-time savegame is only valid in current instance of game, the savegame won't be loadable after the game was closed or console was turned off.
3 Load/save must be performed in the Home Menu while the game is paused, do not return to game until the operation is finished. (it may take about 30 seconds)
4 Some games are totally incompatible with this feature."

There is, but it's difficult to navigate being that it's in Chinese, and most of the plugins are for Japanese games.

There's a user here that was repacking, rehosting and translating plugins to Spanish, which is much easier to navigate. It seems I haven't got it bookmarked, it's somewhere in @OctopusRift's NTR 3.0 thread though.

Is there anything special I need to do to load plugins other than putting the relevant .plg files into plugin/TITLEID/plugin.plg (or cheat.plg, or whatever, does the plugin name matter?)? Because I've tried that, running NTR 3.2 with the out of region thing, but nothing shows when I open the menu with X+Y in game. Any advice would be super appreciated. Trying to run a cheat plugin from that chinese site with the Fire Emblem If special edition translation patch to little avail.

Are you running NTR by loading NTR.bin or with BootNTR?
