If everyone can wait for multi select, it seems stable enough. I just need to tweak some things here and there. Maybe Friday?

How can I backup a save on a retail cart? I have a gateway n3ds with sysnand on 9.0 and emunand on 10.6

I want to backup my Pokemon Omega Ruby save. I can't open it when I am on Classic Mode but I can open the save manager when I am on gateway mode.
On gateway mode, it won't read any carts except the gateway red cart. On classic mode, it will read my pokemon cart but I can't open the cia

I have an SD card from my previous O3DS (has now been system formatted, never had emuNAND) that has save data in the 1410 and 1646 ID folders (I'm trying to recover Pokemon Shuffle and Pokemon Rumble World data) somewhere. The O3DS was on 10.6 FW during last backup as well if it matters.

Can I use this program to extract and decrypt the data so that I can import it into my current N3DS (EmuNAND 10.6)? If so, where do the old ID folders need to be in order to export with this? Is savedatafiler an option otherwise?

Thanks for the great program @JK_

I backed up around 20 different games and only encountered one problem.

When I try to export the save on my "Paper Mario Sticker Star" cartridge, it freezes. I have tried on 2 different New Nintendo 3DS XL's.

Just wanted to give you the heads up!

Followup regarding "Paper Mario Sticker Star".

I got the save data to backup. It was attempting to export all the save files (even though slots 2 and 3 were empty). It would always freeze while trying to dump the empty slot 2.

I copied over my save file from slot 1 into slot 2 and slot 3. After that, the program was able to dump the data (and all the saves).

No other of my games had this problem and most of them only have save data on file 1. I wonder why "Paper Mario Sticker Star" was having trouble.

Update for earlier Pokemon Shuffle post: it was a success!!! I exported both save and extdata (which only created a folder, no file) and imported my most recent savedata.bin.

Is there a way to import the actual ID folders in the Nintendo 3DS folder instead? I don't have the 00slot00 folder for Pokemon Rumble World as I never exported it with a save manager before. This would also get me the most recent Pokemon Shuffle data.

Thank you!!!

Just tried out the new update, getting error message code, "Error opening save archive : C8A04555", whenever trying to export or anything from card type 1 games.

The latest is up. If you have any issues, I'll get to them as quick as I can. Please behave with the eShop data. I have no idea what can and can't be done with it.

Does this include support for demo saves (like Bravely Default)?

Don't take this the wrong way. I love this app, but I just don't find the name "JK's SaveManager" a nice one. How about renaming it to "SaveManager"
That being said, I love the fact that the serial is JKSV. Now THAT fits nicely with the app and has a nice ring to the name (Although I think it should be JKSM, not V). :D

It's just a suggestion. I don't mean for it to be taken negatively in any way :)

Except there already a homebrew with the name save manager
I prefer something like save slot management.
Afterall, the original idea was a save manager similar to svdt, but not as cluster due to all the folders

There is? You mean the basically obsolete 3dsx one?

Fine, it can be something like SaveDataManager to go along nicely with SaveDataFiler. One is official and one is a homebrew?

But anyway, you get the idea :)
