Hacking [Release] HEX-Flow Launcher - A 3d coverflow like launcher (VitaHEX Games)

It worked. I still have some ps1 in Psp. I have the game Id but can't find them in adrenaline bubbles or Vita Shell.

If you are using PKGJ to download PS1 titles you need to rename the game's folder first (located at ux0: pspemu/PSP/GAME/YOUR_PS1_GAME) with it's proper GameID. Then you create the bubble with Adrenaline Bubbles Manager like I mentioned before.

Downloaded Threads of Fate for PS1 from PKGJ and the icon is showing Urban Chaos? I think the database its pulling covers from might be wrong, any way to fix this or add my own cover?

The Game ID is wrong for that game specifically.
Try this one instead: (copy this image to ux0:/data/HexFlow/COVERS/PSX/SLUS01019.png)
Also rename the file to SLUS01019.png

Is it possible for you to do a horizontal shuffle, with the Psvita Game highlighted on the left side of the screen and on the right would be the game name and game description, reminiscent of the 3d game encyclopedia you made before. The description details on what year it is released, the games description and possibly some screenshot. It's just a suggestion thought it would look cool as you shuffle through the games and homebrews.

Its nearly perfect. Here is what's missing for me.
- Option to hide the "All" view.
- Category "Emulators". And also the option to hide/unhide.

I love this and have been tinkering for a while on it. But I do have some suggestions

1. Category option for system apps
2. Category option for ps minis
3. Maybe add a homebrew games category as well
4. Music option is still very finicky but im sure that will be fixed soon
5. Very important to me is a name edit option like seen in onemenu so I can organize my Japanese games in alphabetical order
6.cover art support for ps1 and psp games but most likely is going to be fixed soon as well
7. Maybe sort out roms to auto boot with emulators or have a emulator Category. This one seems harder to code in but would be nice over all

I don't know if your still looking but I have about 200 psp and 200 ps vita games running on your launcher. And unfortunately im a noob to this site so idk how to dm lol

Amazing app!! Mad props for putting in the time to make it.

Sadly the initialization time makes it more of a demonstration, than a day to day application.

Hopefully you wont lose interest in this project and will continue to optimize loops & cache systems to where it becomes more acceptable for day to day usage.

Again Kudo's for what you have done thus far...it's a nice peace of eye candy.

Any idea on how to make the custom background music work?

I placed my mp3 file in ux0/data/HexFlow/ but didn't work.

I renamed it to Music.mp3 but got an error (C2-12828-1).

Please help.

Only tested with PSX2PSP bubbles created with Adrenaline Bubbles Manager.
The app checks in two locations for a single PS1 game. For example: for the PS1 game "SLES01234" it looks in: "ux0: pspemu/PSP/GAME/SLES01234" and "ux0:app/SLES01234". If both folders exist at the same time it marks it as a PS1 game.

My PS1 games in folder ux0: pspemu/PSP/GAME/ are named correctly (SLES01234, etc.), but in ux0:app/ folder they are named "PSPEMU001", etc. How can I change it? Do I have to create all the bubbles for PS1 games again? I changed BubbleID to GameID in ABM but that dont help.

Also I have problem with covers for PSP/PS1 - I download covers for PSP but they do not appear, hexflow still shows the same covers as bubbles. I download covers for PS Vita, refresh and it works great. I do something wrong?

Might i make a suggestion? I think adding the spines to the artwork for the games would make them look even nicer when their turned to the sides since it just stretches the end part of the boxart. I can provide the template and files for them if required.
