Every time I try to update it gets stuck and tells me "An error has occurred. Unable to update. The system will now be restarted." Any ideas on what is happening?

nvm it just worked. Is it laggy for any one else when moving icons around in the menu in emunand?

Yeah, thats a problem with 9.0 as far as im aware and not the actual gateway work. But it lags for what? 2seconds before everything loads, so who's bothered. It works fine.

Black screen where? When you load emunand? Maybe you updated emunand before putting 2.4 launcher?

If it's just emunand anyway, you put your 3DS SD Card on your PC, backup your savefiles (root directory), then format it. Put it back in the 3DS and format it again through system settings to recreate required folders. Note that you'll have to reinstall the DS exploit as a SD Card format remove it. Once it's done, just copy 2.4 launcher back to your SD Card and it should be okay to boot the gateway menu again.

From here, you can use "Format emunand" to reinstall a proper emunand, then update it through system settings.

as safe as any firmware of any flashcard for any handheld device ever ---> use it at your own risk

but so far I haven't encountered anything and didn't read about anything serious
only issue is, that the 9.0 firmware has low icon load speed in the menu, but this is a firmware issue, not a gateway one, both sysNANDS and emuNANDS are affected by that

Thanks GorTesk

Im trying to update emunad but everytime I try I get a error updating
I even format emunad, is there a way to update? Or a walkaround for this issue?

Thanks

i updated my emunand to latest 9.x firmware and my gateway to 2.4 beta ...but i think i found a bug!
can someone confirm the same thing?

Anyway, it happens when playing SSB 3DS..when exiting the game with home button and closing software with X button, the game closes, but when it is closed it kicks me to system NAND instead of staying on emuNAND!!

EDIT: that is not hapening all the time and with all games, just SSB..

And one more thing! when i press nintendo DS profile in sysem NAND in settings, istesad of loadingemuNAND it goes black screen sometimes...

I newer knew that, i used 2.2 and it was great, no bugs!

You think it will be fixed in final version of 2.4 or maybe they release 3.0 version as final one? and 2.x...til version 3 is kinda testing? because there few things that doesnt look complete in 2.x

It's already sort of "fixed" by going home>camera(or other icon) open, that way it closes SSB and stays in EMU

SYSTEM UPDATE 9.0.0-20

Posted on October 7, 2014
News just reached us about System Firmware 9.0.0-20 being released, and some users have already notified us that 9.0.0-20 emunand is not booting.
We have analysed this update for a bit and we can reassure our users that we expect to have a new Launcher update ready shortly.
Our originally planned Launcher for the next release will be put on hold until we have emunand support again.

I'd actually expect it to be the one after the NEXT one. The 9.x update from Nintendo wasn't anticipated, 2.4b is basically a layover to maintain emuNAND compatibility until the next actual update, 2.5 or whatever they'll number it.
