Hi cerp, thank you for the tool and I can ask in another thread or possibly start a new thread.

However, while I agree and undertand with what you said, I also must at the very least include the 2 quotes below.

lol i know exactly what my tool does, yes it does alter the CIA, but only because it is necessary for them to be installed.
the only thing changed is the ticket file, all the data content files are intact and never decrypted so xorpads and title keys not used or needed - in order to region patch and other stuff, we would need to do a lot more stuff

not patching dlc, but, if we try to make a 100% unaltered backup CIA from ANY of content... it does not install (from my testing, i should test more though, someone did give me an idea a little while ago)
the only exception, that a CIA can be created that will install in devmenu, without any altering or patching, is preinstalled CIAs.
but if i buy a game myself on eshop, i have to alter just a little of the ticket, otherwise it will not install in devmenu.

cearp i have a question, will the updates from games made with funkycia work with another console in sysnand?, for example i have mh4g and i want to use my retail cartridge with a USA console, will the update work for it in classic mode?

What if I installed a legit JP prebundled CIA on a US console with GW and then tried to system transfer it to a JP console? Would it work?

i think they made it incredibly easy giving out legit signed universal tickets for pretty much all the top games....im sure they could of come up with a better system than that, like signing a ticket for a specific console serial range to just cover the limited edition bundle batch

There's a whole list of games not dumped yet (around 10 for Europe now (bbmax NSMB2 Special Edition not included))

Actually I don't get why they did this. Yes, there has been the Wind Waker christmas fiasko, but generally, for bundles that are not released during holiday season, they could have just go for download codes and not pre-installed software.

I just think Nintendo will not do pre-installed bundles anymore. MM and MH4 will be the last in Europe.
That is, if the learn there lesson , Next time it's either a download code or the actual cartridge included
