Homebrew is still very buggy.
Just power your system off and on until it works.
I am having a similar problem to ReswobMeta however.
I know it is decompressed correctly (done it nearly 15 times now), but my chapter 1 file won't load along with my map 1.
I'm not at home right now, so I don't have the files, but Chapter 1 is complete with 68 people I believe, and map 1 is save stated on the prologue.
The weirdest thing happened a few days ago, but I didn't post it here.
Somehow my chapter1 file replaced map1, and when I opened the game, it showed the video for chapter 2, but the units and avatar matched the ones for my chapter1 file. Just wondering how that could have happened

Do you have also the chapter0 ? you need to make a save file for each slot or it's gonna say "it cant be null"

Too bad, my Grima-Donnel can't take the Expiration from the Convoy ! :(

To enable expiration you need to optimize the Grima's equipment on the item screen.

Sorry, I've come here to warn you all. It seems the last version (the one with the cloning feature) breaks your save if you aren't in the overworld map; so you MUST be sure to save OUTSIDE any battle and OUTSIDE prep for battle. Sorry for that, I was trying to add a way for units in prep to load good too, but it went wrong, and I forgot to test it before posting.

I'm adding this to the Original Post, too. Won't be able to update for a while, so I thought of warning you at least.

@GCNMatt Are you using version 1.1 of FEAST? The 1.0 version had some bugs with it. Anyway, don't try loading Map files, since it seems even in FEAST ver. 1.1, they get mixed and aren't correctly decompressed. Use only decompressed Chapter files in the editor.

If you still have the issue, sorry I wasn't of help, cannot research much right now. But that thing about using 1.0 version insted of 1.1 has been the main reason for many people getting errors when decompressing using FEAST.

I am using v1.1.
And I was using map files so that I can change characters as soon as I get them for a bit of a randomizer effect. Oh well....
I still would like a reason or any guesses to why my characters from my completed save file got on the map file. Maybe it has to do with the decompressing process.
@Olmectron You're fine. You've kept me occupied for a good while now, so it's alright if you can't research my every problem. XD

Okay. Thanks!

I was making tests with Map files, so I could edit the placement of the units and such. However, I found out that, for example, I had used the 2 Map slots with Chapter 3 in casual mode. The Map 1 data (Map0 in the files) contained data about the characters in Chapter 1, and the Map 2 data contained data about the characters in Chapter 2. But, as I said, both Map saves were from Chapter 3. I've been messing around with the open source code of FEAST, but I couldn't find anything mixing up the files (I'm a noob in C#, anyway, so I can't say I'm sure about that).

Maybe the game saves like that for some reason? Or maybe FEAST has a bug with map files? I don't know, sadly.

Anyway I hope you get to fix your issue. I'm looking in compressing/decompressing directly, so I hope to find a fix for that in some weeks.

My chapter1file still won't open after twenty minutes.
I'd upload it, but for some reason, the site can't find it in the folder.
That stinks......

So, you have Chapter1_dec (decompressed already, no matter the name), and the Java editor doesn't load it. Right?

I can't check anything anymore, (computer being used).
I'll see what I can do tomorrow.
As for file sending, I've never had to upload any files like that, but I believe I do have dropbox.
I have no idea about specs. (It was bought 1.5-2 years ago and was pretty cheap if that helps...
