Ok, sorry. Cannot do anything. Yes, you'd need a Donnel dump for adding it to your save. Sadly, it could mess up with your inventory and some other things.
Awe dang i really dont won't to restart since im so far... what will mess up if i did out a dump of him in my game.
If you add bytes to a decompressed file and then compress it back again with FEAST, your inventory will be wiped out, as well as the Barracks list. It can affect some other things too, but I haven't experimented that much with it.
Nothing so harming (not game crashings, and all that), at least in my tests.

I tried to get a Gaius that I killed when he was an enemy using a bit of hex editing. I replaced a logbook avatar with him. End result: it worked, but my convoy was wiped. Character inventories were not touched and nothing else was damaged.
Anyone else find it ironic how everyone's cheating death in a game notorious for its perma-death feature? Because I do.

Been there done that. Try doing the same on Lunatic+! Before this editor was a thing, I spent almost a year on a single L+ file making sure everyone was recruited and alive at the end of the game. It was absolute hell.....
OH wow well i just got the game again recently sold it to get fates but yea i'm back and im trying things that i didn't do before.
Was he an enemy when he died (meaning you attacked and killed him in his chapter)? If so I can write up a little tutorial later.
