Thanks for the news! I'm excited about this one. :)

A final fantasy that I've never played through completely.
They don't mind their piracy in that there Vita scene, now do they. :P
True, but they don't need to worry, they don't include copywritten files in these ports. :) You "have to" buy the port to use their wrapper... it's in your hands if you pirate it - they suggest purchasing.

thats not a bad deal for a laptop actually unless you're unlucky and get the bottom spec on everything then its basically a chromebook

Why not just use the original controller you ripped apart? Cool project but seems like a waste. I made my own controller/ fight stick for switch using an Arduino, and even uploaded my code here on a forum.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Neither 8bitdo controllers nor Old Spice deodorants are some priceless relics, and if the guy wants to faff around let him.

  • Veho @ Veho:
The point is "cramming a controller into a deodorant stick" and not "making the best possible controller".
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
True I guess, to each they own. I know I've made some projects in the past that are cool to me, but others are like wtf.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Generally most of the "let's cram stuff into other stuff" projects are learning experiences, they're not meant to result in an actually useful product. But you learn a lot.

  • Veho @ Veho:
Once you've done a few of those, building something actually useful will come much easier.

I made myself a soundboard handheld w amplified speaker and 3d printed a case with 10 buttons. Loaded it with bird sounds. I sit on my porch alot and use it to talk to the birds, and they respond back to it. I think its cool but wifey thinks I'm crazy.
