When I select themes for it, no matter what I do, press in power then going back home, restarting the 3ds, etc. it doesn't change.

Hmm, I think so, it was on my friends 3ds that I was hacking for him, it had the red theme set

Select each theme you want to install with B, then press the SELECT button to install shuffle. Then reboot (press start and poweroff).

Well, I did disable the things it tells you to disable before getting cfw in 3ds.guide even though I don't have cfw (did it just to be safe) but still anything can happen

Sorry, I've been very busy with school these past few weeks and haven't had much, if any, time to work. I'm probably going to get some more time either tonight or tomorrow, but I doubt I'll get enough done to get 1.3.0 out.

In the meantime, I'm probably going to release 1.2.2 with some relatively minor bugfixes, but nothing major.

To answer/correct the both of you, it's a known bug with Home Menu, not Anemone - that is, it's not our fault. There's nothing we can do about it, and you'll find that Themely exhibits the same behaviour (the first tip-off that it was Nintendo, not us).

yeah downloading themes with qr code doesn't work. it says downloading really quickly but the theme doesn't get downloaded

actually the problem might be with me, the other theme app also fails to download, saying it couldn't get the zip file

Well nevermind apparently my router was having a problem where it could download everything except themes restarted it now it's working again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

it just that a few days ago i had a problem where anemone didn't download themes, but themely did, so i thought that was happening again
