I can't get 3DS Bank to install, whether via a QR code or manually putting the file on my SD card.

Deleting DSIWare games made it install on the first try. Is manually moving things around by plugging the SD card in my computer the only way to move stuff between the two folders?

Homebrew apps are on the 3ds folder,

The CIA ones could be installed on different banks. you activate the bank you like, install the cia and then change to other bank and install the cia there.
I didn't recall seeing FBI or the rest of the CIA ones in the second bank. I guess I could always install them again with the backup Homebrew Launcher in the safety menu?

I got the important default homebrew applications to install on the second bank at least, (though I would still appreciate if anyone could get me QR Codes for Checkpoint an the Homebrew Launcher), but FBI refuses to install anything in the second bank. I've tried both normal FBI and FBI Reloaded in the second bank, and I went back and tested the primary bank, and now FBI refuses to install anything there either.

No matter what I try to install, it gives me the error code 0xD963FA84, and the description is a SSL Connect Error. And I'm on an original 3DS if that matters.

Which version of FBI are you using? Because it sounds like you're using an outdated version.

Is that what's shown when you see the version number in FBI? If so, then maybe your internet is having issues? If your internet is fine, then idk why this issue happens.
I was watching Twitch while I trying to get that setup, I had no issues there, and I made sure that my 3DS was connected to the internet. Am I just not allowed to have FBI installed on multiple banks?

I have no idea why, if that's the case.
On my side, I just injected FBI into the Health and Safety application a while back. This involves using outdated tools though, so I guess wait until someone makes a NAND-installable version of FBI.

Install Universal-Updater on both (you'd have to switch DP app to Homebrew Launcher then boot the .3dsx version of Universal-Updater in order to install this, since you can't install fbi on either folders). And install Fbi, Homebrew Launcher and everything else you want with it.

I did get Universal Updater elsewhere, didn't see Checkpoint anywhere on there.

I used both FBI and FBI Reloaded. It seemed to work just fine before I installed FBI Reloaded, so I deleted it, but it didn't fix my issue. On second thought, multiple FBI installations screwing with things wouldn't make sense since I have both the 3DSX one and a CIA on my primary bank.

I notice the 4k difference in blueray movies but not much in games. But the HDR is noticeable in games. I'm on a 4k 120hz Tv and Series X. I imagine games will get better tho.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Most film industries shoot at native 4k VS a game company that makes the game native 1080p then rely on software to upscale the image to look better

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
True 4k games would probably be insane in GBs

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea I can see that being the case. I almost bought a 8k tv, but figured I'd make my house payment instead. They expensive af.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
That's how RDR2 looked so good at the time 150GB gta6 will probably be around 200
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Makes sense. 1080p Dvd- 4.7-8.5gb, 4k blueray- 25-50gb
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
And why games had to basically ditch physical the install game probably installs at 1080 then all your other files upgrades the 4k textures
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
A movie obviously not requiring texture packs
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I want that 8k game on physical, ok that'd be 25 disks to install.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Physical is ass imagine the 4th install disc arriving cracked
