yeah... unfortunately I'm on M1, thanks for the help anyways! If you ever make a version that could work on the M1 that would help me out a lot lol

Well, I'm trying to get it working on M1 macs, so hopefully should be done "soon", but if you know how to build stuff you could try compiling WiiUDownloader and maybe uploading the binary so I can post it

Is there any way to get the title meta data without having to fetch a C source file from V10lator?

Are you talking about the title database? If so that's a mix of http://wiiubrew.org/wiki/Title_database and a source I'm not allowed to tell.

Or are you talking about the Title MetaData file (aka title.tmd) of a specific title? If so that should be http://ccs.cdn.wup.shop.nintendo.net/ccs/download/[TITLE_ID]/tmd

More like both, I was peeking at the code for Nusspli and this soft and found that the title data is autogenerated from your api as a C source, that's really cool, but was looking at also doing a version of WiiUDownloader in another lang just to try to learn the process of the whole game download and decode process. Having an easier to parse definition (like in a json file) would be nice(r) for using tools I'm more familiar with.

Well, you could always write a parser that converts the c source to a json file, shouldn’t be that hard I think

single click on a title and start typing, it works on linux and macOS, not sure about windows

v1.9 is out with the following changelog:

• Improved naming of the folders, it lists the name and the titleID instead of just the titleID
• Added a proper search bar that allows for searching both names and titleIDs
• Now uses the native folder selector from your OS
• Added pause and cancel download buttons while downloading

Question;

How to run this on Windows 11.
Iff i run the exe it starts in windows powershel telling me its missing components to run.
I get a list of game's and option to choose a download pad. But cant choose to actualy download.
I get no proper GUI to run it..

Extract the zip with all of the files, don’t move the exe away from the folder, it should work

If there are 3 folders (code, content and meta) inside the title you're trying to install, remove them, they might be causing issues, next time you download something, uncheck the "Decrypt contents" checkbox in the bottom left

I’ll try that tonight. In essence you’re saying (assuming folders are set up correctly): it should be as simple as copying the folder to the install folder on the wii u front SD.

Well getting closer but not there yet. Testing it side by side with splatoon (USA) usbhelper : wiiudownloader.

No updates just the core game.

Wiiudownloader:
1) original issue I think was the random special characters that follow the title name e.g. Splatoon&[email protected] [000500010176900]. WUP installer doesn’t even show folders if special characters are present. Removed them from folder name and now can select to attempt WUP installing.

2) both decrypted and non decrypted get as far as selecting where to install nand/usb. Then fail as the instal begins. Throwing up error “verify WUP files are correct and complete. Dlc/e shop require sig patch”

3) install via WUP installer no issues.

That looks like a ticket issue, could you try redownloading the game with the new v1.10 update I just pushed? It also fixes the weird characters in the folder

Still no joy. I do like the addition of the prompt to include the game update when adding to the DL queue, nice work.

Could you try installing it with NUSspli and see what happens?
