I use the latest version of MenuHax and CtrBootLoader, and on both of my O3DS and N3DS, the boot rate is nearly 100%.

    Try using this payload:
    http://ihaveamac.github.io/ninjhax2.x/

I use that and get an excellent bootrate with MenuHax > CtrBootManager > Gateway.

I've heard really bad things about people trying to use 128gb SD cards on the 3DS. are you sure it's not fake?

This. n3ds as a whole has a lot of bootrate issues with menuhax. A9lh will fix this entirely, although it admittedly is a bit of work to set up.

I did this with an O3DS with ReiNAND and a N3DS with Cakes, and in both cases got excellent results -- basically 99% boot rate for Menuhax.

Of course this does nothing for the boot manager boot rate. But overall much better, since this eliminates problems in one of the two places it can freeze.

If you mean the time it takes to load then yeah, it takes approximately 45-50 seconds to boot and that's if it does actually boot. If you use AL9H then the boot time is cut down to 16 seconds and it will boot every time.

I know these things because I have a 128GB SD card.

Join the A9LH Master Race, and no longer will you need to put up with freezes or long boot times.
    It's worth it, though. :)

    lol
    Fixed. :)

yup no need for delays or restarts because of failed boots

without a9lh his best bet is for a bootmanager and a delay

    My boot with a 200GB card & a9lh is roughly 8-10 seconds.

How much of a different does 64kb cluster make vs 32kb cluster?

i love how with menuhax you do everything you can to get it to boot, but with a9lh you do everything you can to get it to boot faster lol

    Between insane and insecure
    To increase Menuhax bootrate, you need to;
    Step 1: Install A9LH
    Step 2: Uninstall Menuhax
Step 3: Enjoy your 100% perfect bootrate
