Do any of you have experience changing the region of a savegame? Is it as simple as changing the program or region flag in the save? Does the structure of the raw savedata (not incl headers, certs etc) really differ much between regions?

To be honest, I bought the DJ Hero turntable and got a copy of the game in PAL. Since then, I've decided that I like it enough to buy an in-region copy, but I don't want to have to re-unlock everything.

I'm tempted to create a blank save in both, complete a song, and just do a diff in a hexeditor, but I'd like an idea of what I'm getting into before I sink any real time into this.

Thanks.

Thanks, but that's kind of what I said at the end. Doesn't matter what method you use to extract the save. Does SGMGX save them in some sort of unencrypted format?
