I soft modded my Wii with the Zelda hack, and every thing works grate..
Now I want to install this recovery menu in case of a brick, I just want to know what I need to do this..?

I kinda know a little about the recovery menu..?
My Wii is 3.2U and modded with the Zelda hack/ Home Brew Channel..
I have a SD card, USB card, a Nintendo Game cube controller and a NGC memory card... I think I need these..?

What program do I need and what do I install from that program.

    THANKS:)

Preloader is the best option at the moment.

    http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Preloader

make sure you read that and understand the risks first

The built in recovery menu only lets you boot a recovery disc unless you use hacks to let it boot any disc

preloader indeed. it can help you to remove a banner brick for example, or restore the system menu

    Thanks guys..

I just want to make sure there is something I need to install to my Wii before I brick it, to fix it if it gets bricked...Right..?

This is what PreLoader is right?

Preloader is actually more powerful than any predefined recovery menu, not to mention safer.

    Yes, that's preloader
it can also do some other nice stuff. such as disabling the lame background music in the wii menu and disabling the health screen for example

I didn't really see anything in BootMii that we don't already have... maybe I'm missing something?

The idea of one piece of software superceding everything else is kinda scary. Unless it's open source, it's going to be hard to customize it to our liking.

run it like any other homebrew application
so rename to boot.dol and place it in a subdirectory in \apps\
then run it from hbc. it will then install.
you can put a hacks.ini file in root of your sd to install some additional cool hacks
    see http://www.wiibrew.org/wiki/Preloader/hacks

put the hacks.ini on the root of your SD card and rename the preloader .dol to boot.dol and place that in a folder ( I called mine... preloader) in your apps folder on the SD card and then run it through the HBC. Press 1 on the warning screen to install

one more thing, which happened to me. perhaps it'll happen to you too and scare you (possibly thinking that preloader itself bricked the wii)
after installing preloader .29, it rebooted and the system displayed the terrible 'system files are corrupted' message. But that was easy to fix. it turned out that preloader set the system menu to a wrong ios.
so i booted into the preloader menu (hold reset, then power on wii). then go to settings and change back the ios to 30

go to settings and set it to normally boot directly to the system menu instead of preloader
then preloader will be hidden at startup
If you need it again, just hold reset after powering on

From what I have read up the software is on the SD card and can be changed so you can take the file off or remove the SD it will boot to Preloader > Systemmenu etc as normal. BootMii doesn't need systemmenu IOS so all IOS could be corrupt and Wii can be more than likely fixed. Preloader relys on systemmenu IOS. It puts people into false sense of security you certainly aren't fully brickproof with Preloader. It's still good to have it anyway.
