I am trying to format my laptop due to a lot of blue screens. I insert the recovery disk and I turn on the laptop and it just boots into Windows normally. How can I make it boot the recovery disk?

Enter setup when booting (Normally hitting F2 on boot, might be different for you though), and change your boot order so it loads the disk first. btw i just fixed my labtop blue screen errors by replacing the mem, have you tried running memtest86+

Go into your BIOS and check the boot order. You can set it to check the disc drive for content before booting to the Hard Drive.

    Edit: Ninja'd.
