I'm curious as to why you think SE would ask for that much. Are they going to release it in episodes?
As for your suggestions, I can't really say much. FF just isn't my sort of game. But I sort of feel that the changes you want may go directly against what another fan will want (or won't even be compatible with other requests on your own list). And that means there'll be disappointment if you go expect too much. Yes, I know: 180 bucks is a lot. But this isn't about money but about games not being able to be tailormade to suit the likes of one individual rather than a group of fans.
EDIT: and...probably off-topic, but I'll mention it nonetheless. I recently played that Abe's oddyssey remake. It's in most aspects a great game. But the camera angles just ruined it for me. I ended up just starting to play the original instead. I'm still glad I have the game and it's remade (it's one of MY all time favorite games), but it's more of a "I have that game!" than me actually wanting to play it.
I see what you're saying, but I just feel that updated graphics alone can't justify having a remake released in parts and charging full game price for each part. This is an assumption though because they've stated each part will contain a full games content. As far as my list, they're not really changes, just more additional content. Truthfully, what I'm interested in, more than anything is end game playability. There were many interesting activities you could partake in the third disc of the original. Lots of side quests and mini games. I couldn't even tell you how many hours I ultimately played, because my memory card saves were all maxed out each of the 3 times I played through. Their just ideas more than anything, but I'm pretty sure there's at least 2 or 3 there that most of us FF pundits would think are cool lol. If not, I'm super open for suggestions/critiques!!!
