So like ik i've done some posts before like 2 actually, but i've done everything on that's on em and i swear, i just can't get this thing fixed, is actually stressing me a lil since everytime i try something it just doesn't seem to work, so the wii i bought was already used, the seller hacked it already, it can for some reason only run resident evil 4 for the wii and gamecube games, with every other game it just freezes.

it used to freeze on the system menu and didn't generated a syscheck file, but after messing around with mod mii i somehow fixed the system menu, but sadly that didnt fix the games too, but like after doing even more stuff i somehow got syscheck working properly and managed to save the syscheck file here, i also opened the wii too to see if it was damaged or one of the chips was loose or smthing but it was all good, so i got no clue what it could be, the system menu's fixed and syscheck is too so maybe i did fixed something but rn i got no clue of what it was, it'd be great if y'all could help me.

heres the syscheck

As far as my poor knowledge goes... it seems to be normal.

My guess is one of these things:
- Bad dumps (downloaded damaged iso files/uncomplete files)
- The System is badly corrupted.

My suggestion is do undo everything by updating the System Menu with a specific game that offers some kind of System Update.
I'm not aware of methods to un-hack a Wii.

By updating the console, it might get rid of everything that the previous owner did to this console, and then, you'll be able to hack it correctly.

Again, as far as I know, it seems right.

Are the games you tried came installed in the system, or you ripped/DL them yourself? try using the latest version of USBLoaderGX with default settings and test again. And is the freeze is eliminated completely in the home menu?

I downloaded both all of the gamecube isos and wii isos from the same page even resident evil 4 , they all work on emulators just fine too, and yeah like after doing the stuff people recommended on my last post, the freeze on the system menu's completely gone.

it's been atleast 2 straight days without any freeze on it

You mean wbfs files for the Wii games, anyway, in USBLoaderGX settings check if the IOS to boot Wii games is 249, if not, type it and launch your game. When you say they freeze, on a black screen without showing anything on boot?

Are you using a USB hard drive or a flash drive? Flash drives are notorious for having issues with USB loaders, Wii games in particular.

Glad you sorted this out, but it would've been cool to see the broken one actually fixed. I have a feeling that it's just gonna end up being thrown away. :(

As far as I know you have to download the whole Wii Menu (4.2) and install it as a wad file/nand backup.

But it's not recommended because it will cause your Wii to brick if you don't do it right.
