yes but like using clone firmware on REAL R4 cards it would need decrypting and recrypting with the R4/M3simply tool
but what would be the point!? CLONES are getting updates and REAL is not so would not gain anything it would be a backwards step!
to add original R4 firmware does not support SDHC either!

@Psionic Roshambo, I had an iCade cabinet many years ago, it works but you could only play games that are listed to support with the iCade through the App Store. Unless you perhaps jailbreak your iPhone and pre-load emulators perhaps.+1
