Hacking Real or Fake Gateway? Black PCB, but the pin seems real.

Hey guys,
I recently bought from a site I shouldn't have for my Gateway, and am trying to tell if it's real or not. The pin matches every real picture I've seen (Shorter PCB for 8th pin) But the PCB color is either dark blue or black... real or not?

Its real looks exactly like mines just format an sd to exfat with one 3ds rom and run the Diagnostic test in the gateway menu.
Is there a slight bulge where you would insert the micro sd card under the sticker?

Yes. There is.

Also, diagnostic tests look good, and it updates to Omega fine. So it's legit?

It should be a metal spring action click in and click out

yeah for the blue card or my r4i card its smooth. Only for the red card is a little jerky or doesn't click out as smooth.

Mine feels very "sticky" when I try to insert or eject it, it sometimes gets stuck halfway out when I try to eject it and I have to give it a nudge. Never got stuck inserting it though, just make sure you insert it straight.

Yeah! this is what I meant. I think I never phrase my sentence properly. Its when ejecting then it will be sticky. Quite annoying though, I always eject the card after I am in emunand mode. I heard it drains battery when inserted?

The battery drain, if any, is negligible. It might take 10% off your battery time but you will hardly notice the difference.

It does drain the battery and it could be noticable, especially in standby. If you want longest battery life - use .cia and eject card after loading emunand.
