Hardware Ready to purchase a New 3DS XL, some questions before I make my final decision.

Hi again, my N3DS LL arrives today and I have some questions again.

1) Do I need to update my emuNAND? My sysNAND is 9.2.0-20. Are there any games that require above 9.2? If I do not need to update my emuNAND, you can skip question 2 and 3.

2) What is the highest emuNAND N3DS can update to? I check all the gateway-3ds.com update logs, and I only see they mention FW9.5 or higher is not be supported on N3DS. So, 9.4.0-21 is the highest emuNAND I can go?

3) Since I can't update my emuNAND officially (it will update me to 9.8.0-25, which is not supported), how can I update to 9.4.0-21? I found a software called 3DNUS that can download .cia files for specific FW. Can I use this?

I think every game will work on 9.2, but there are some small features added in updates that you may want to have, like the theme shuffling, so the easiest way to update is to find a ROM with 9.5 and hold d-pad up while entering GW mode, that will allow you to update emuNAND with the ROM. http://3ds.essh.co has a list (enter 9.5 in the search box), there's only one game for each region that contains 9.5. For JPN that game is Girls_Mode_3_Kirakira_Code_JPN_3DS-HR.
9.5 is the last firmware that works on n3DS emuNAND, although the site doesn't mention it. As it turns out, the new encryption that broke emuNAND support wasn't used until 9.6.
