Hacking Re-Hack a Wii, how to

Bassically, the Wii I hacked a years have a few minor bug. I would like to know is it's safe to rehack a Wii from the beg-ginning if it's already hacked.

I'm planning to start from the begginning with the Smash exploit. Also, should I restore the NAND or its not necessary?

You shouldn't restore the nand. Use modmii and follow the guide as if your wii was never modded before.
