    Hey guys, i just started soldering a few days ago and have been practising...

    the wire is 30awg kynar, so that should help you judge how small the points in the picture are.

    How are we supposed to judge your soldering skills when your soldering points can't even be seen?

    Yeah, the picture is complete garbage. Might want to try again with macro mode on the camera.

    suck it up and do the job, or just use quicksolder...

    i found it to be ALOT easier than wires...

    took me about 40 seconds

    the dvd ribbbon cable however, whole diff story

    lol...

    You seem to have close to cold solders too... should be shiny not dull. Get a better iron and use decent solder.
