When I opened up peer block, the only main application I had running uses TCP port 80 and 443; but peer block repeatedly said it was blocking UDP connections from {my internal IP}:{random UDP port}. I wasn't running any torrents nor do I have any torrents;

Would a hi-jack this log or wireshark indicate what exactly is causing these connections?

If you're running windows, try netstat -ab > netstat.txt in a command line, then open the text file and look for the ip:Port. This should tell you what process is using the port and possibly what it's trying to connect to.

There's a similar command for linux. I don't recall what it is off the top of my head. Just netstat with different options.
