every 4-5 hours my 360 will randomly have frame rate drops
any idea why?
Your CPU becomes to hot and runs a bit unstable.
But that usually result in more slowdowns over a longer period of time.
Or it could just be disc lag (dirty disc/dirty laser)
i have only one dice game and i installed it on to my hdd
and is there any thing i can do about cooling then
I doubt it is the disc or laser but might as well cover all the bases and I'm guessing you mean 4-5 hours of use not if you play 6 hours straight it corrects itself? Well a lot of dust can get into the system so I recommend cleaning it and maybe reflowing it if you have the equipment.
You can fit a small 40 mm fan on the 2nd GPU heatsink if you have a Zephyr/Falcon/Opus/Jasper console.
Hook it up to ether 9v or 12v.
Ans like Rasas said.
Cleaning is important on 360's
