Does anyone else think we'll start seeing normal games using the RAM expansion in the same way the N64 used it's RAM expansion pack? I really think there's alot of untapped potential there.

There is alot of potential with it, but it creates a divide between those that have the RAM pack and those that don't.
Most of the N64 games that used the expansion pack only used it for expanded features, you could still play the game without it.
Yeah, they should do that with the DS too.
Fuck the ones without RAM expansion! If games can get better with it, developers should use it!

Only two if I'm not mistaken... Donkey Kong 64 and another one.
But games like Perfect Dark weren't enjoyable without the Expansion Pak.

an MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) could do with it.
Another Final Fantasy (XIII DS Version, maybe?) which could fill up the whole Game Cart then fill up all the RAM. It wouldn't be "Massively" but its would be big.

Maplestory and rognarok ds should be out soon, those are mmorpgs on the pc, so they might be mmorpgs on the ds.
No. The RAM expansion isn't sold separately, so I doubt anyone other than the developers of Opera will use it. Whether other developers make their own is another matter, but I don't think there'll be an influx of teams picking it up just for the hell of it.
