Hey Romruto, if you want me and Kuren can help. I'm looking into the room ro see if graphics files are editable, but no luck yet. I think this thread shuld get the can. And start a new one, with spreadsheets. Or at least upload the whole msg .txt files so people can download them and reupload them telling us wich file is it. If you want of course.

While I respect the amount of work you've obviously put into this, I suspect another poster got it right earlier with:

Suspend and Save
Suspend and Load
Memo
Save
Load

in the msg_menu file rather than your:

Saved suspended
Rhodes suspended
Notepad
Save
Rhodes

Also, all translators should pay attention to the control codes (such as line breaks) and make sure they are used when necessary. The crashing you are experiencing is probably due to missing control codes.

Good job with the translation so far, athough it's extremely unorganized and the first post needs to be updated ASAP. I'll update the Index when I get home today since this is such a popular game.

Just a small note: I translated my own Job file with the class Swordsman, not Swordman which most of you seem to have written. Guess i should upload my translation files aswell, it's not much but maybe it will contribute some.

We are translating more things, but lets make things clear:

We use books, dictionaries and stuff. Sometimes, we use a kanji dictionary homebrews. And in brazil we talk portuguese. Its hard to post here in english, and translate the game for english.

Anyway, the experience of our first translation is.... AWESOME.
Shimizu knows more english, while me some more of japanese.

Hi ppl! I'm with some of Yamkawa's work now. I'm working in a .doc and I'll copy on a spoiler when I get it or something like that (I dunno how to hack a rom but I think some of u could do it when the translation's done ^^)

I'm working on the menu. I think it could be useful to distribute everything so we can finish soon. I'm learning japanese but just since november, so I can sit and translate things but not play it T_T

hope you finish this soon! i want to play this so badly but, like you would have guessed, i can't read/speak Japanese...
and that sucks... anywayz hope this is going to end well and not like someothers that begin and never ended... that pisses me off

i don't mean to rain on your parade, but if you just started learning the language in november then i don't think you should be attempting to translate just yet. it'd be better to leave it to those of us who are comepletely fluent and can produce good, timely translations with little effort.

lol its easy if you just use babelfish:its an online program thats can translate,very usefull.
