I'd like to again thank everyone who has worked hard on this project (see the list below) especially Artlan, AndyJayne, Anubis, Darth Nemesis, War and last, but not least, the Yamakawa Brothers.
There was a ton of hard work and many late nights put into this... I, and I think I speak for the rest of the team, just wish we had more to give to you, the gamers/players, sooner.
While the project was active, I had a great time working on it and learned quite a bit.

When you come across a crash and want to report it, please provide as much information as possible.
Please spend a few minutes trying to duplicate it and narrowing it down as much as possible for us.
If you viewed 5 quests/skills/whatever and crashed... try them one at a time, see which one(s) crash.
If Skill A, Skill B and Skill D each causes crashes, report that.. don't just say "Skills crash the game".
Since everyone's game is slightly "different" -- Class, skills available, etc -- It's pretty hard, though not
impossible, for us to track down these issues just by knowing where the problems come up, however,
it'll take us far longer to track it down and fix it than it would if you submitted a more detailed report.

And it's very simple to use, just follow these instructions:
1). Decompress the archive (UnRAR/UnZip -- Use <a href="http://www.7-zip.org/" target="_blank">7-Zip</a> or your favorite archive utility)
2). Drop your UNMODIFIED and UNTRIMMED game ROM onto the file called "Drag_Original_ROM_Here.bat"
3). After XDelta finishes patching your game.... play!

Note: If the download links do not work for you, I suggest using <a href="http://www.mozilla.com/" target="_blank">Firefox</a>.
Also disable any download managers if you have trouble downloading.
If you are already a Firefox user and still having problems, make sure to
allow scripts filedropper.com in NoScript or AdBlock Plus if you use them.

if u check the old thread the OP said it was fine and that twiztidsinz need to get a mod to close it. Im guessing twiztidsinz is probably the one who going to compiling future translation patch or there been a change in leadership/management for the translation project.

While Noitora hasn't been on the project for a while, he was kind enough to keep the first post updated.
However, since we're going to try to release official patches with more regularity, I figured it'd be best to take the burden/responsibility off of Noitora and I talked to him through Private Messages about starting a new topic.

I made sure to cover all my bases and not step on peoples toes before I made any moves.

How To Update GameID For Special People

1. Open your Cheat file with the latest R4CCE (you can download R4CCE here: http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=76852).

2. Scroll down to Ragnarok Online DS and click on that button:

4. Check if that ID changed, if it did, save your cheat file and move away from your computer, if it didn't, you probably selected your normal ROM:

5. Don't ask me any follow up questions.

During the intro movie, when the novice asks the girl, "What's your name?", the screen just turns black but there's music in the background. Anyone have the same problem with the new patch?

btw.. in the previous patch, my game hangs when the couple falls off the cliff and/or the knight with the hat fights off the guards. These have been fully resolved by the new patch. However, I have a new problem which I have stated above.

I've gone through the intro five times now, testing out several versions of the patch (two official.) Let me tell you, great work. However if we can't get past the intro, how are we lowly people supposed to enjoy the game?

dunno wether its a known bug but one of the story bits of the novice at the graves is a blank box
and there are a few blank box's through the bit where he finds the girl and i think some of the text is out of place like hes talking about stuff he talks about asfter he wakes her up b4 shes up... and a freeze when you have to name her
