Race and language, necessary correlation?

    Lately I have been hearing from some people, advocating that people of a certain race/descent are obliged to employ a certain language, without considering different living experiences and environments on the part of individuals. I'm *not* convinced really.

    You mean "ebonics" and such, right? Well that's a load of crap. The way a person talks depends on their surroundings, and isn't genetically or racially determined.
