Hacking R4I rts lites

i was wondering can anyone help, why does the firmware keep removing off the card,

it will work for a bit then you go to turn it on and the red man icon appears and we have to reload the r4i software again onto the card,
it only happens sometimes but its quiet annoying

when we load it up onto the micro sd, we add all the firmware, then the nds roms also onto the same area, (not in separate folders)

can anyone help as to why the cards would keep removing the software

run on ds lite, and dsi
