Hacking R4i Gold(r4ids.cn) a little harder to push in?

Has anyone noticed the R4i takes a little bit more effort to push in the DS than other cards?
Or... am I the only one? I noticed this with the M3 Real as well(which is why I stayed with M3 Simply)

In case anyone is wondering when you put the card in it just fine until its time to push the card in, you have to push it a little more to snap it in. To get it out requires you push it in a little more to the point you swear you're pushing it to the very back of the slot.

Carts are just shaped imperfectly, for example my review sample cart did this.

Yeah I noticed this with an older m3 real but I figured it was just that card. My m3 Simply though fits perfectly so when I upgraded to the r4i gold I was expecting similar quality. It's just a tad thicker though I guess from the extra crap it needs but still... I just hope it doesn't break my newly acquired 3ds xl in the long run.
